The Dreaded Tax Deadline: April 15th, 2021!

April 15th 2021 will be here before you know it!

To help you speed up your refunds and get your money quicker, follow these simple steps:

4 Simple Steps

  • File electronically and use direct deposit for the quickest refunds.

  • Check IRS.gov for the latest tax information, including the latest information on Economic Impact Payments. No need to call!

  • If you are eligible for stimulus payments, carefully review the Recovery Rebate Credit guidelines! Many of these went out automatically; however, if you didn’t receive a payment (or partial payment only), you may be eligible to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit when you file the 2020 tax return. Tax preparation software, (TaxSlayer, TurboTax, IRS Free File, etc.) can help you determine the amount you may receive.

  • Stimulus payments received separately are not taxable, and do not reduce your refund when filed in 2021.
